I am an Neuroscientist with passion for higher cognitive functions such as learning and memory, decision-making and problem-solving. I indulge in different mediums of art, be it watercolor, arcylic or oil. I love playing ultimate frisbee and have professional grade training in compound archery. Lately I have taken up photography which goes well with my travels.

I love to solve problems. Generally every problem requires a different approach let it be engineering, design or just the approach. Here I am sharing some of my projects that I am proud of.
Head-Mounted eye-tracker for studying vision neuroscience in freely behaving animals performing ethologically relevent tasks.
Artificial Neural network based segmentation that allows for pupil detection without setting any threshold and is robust to varying lighting conditions.
Using Unity game engine, I designed a virtual maze for humans so that they can try to solve the maze just as a mouse would do for a behavioral task.
For my doctoral thesis I investigated the role of learning and memory in forming "Mental schema" and how that can be leveraged to solve novel problems.
Photography
I love to travel to places away from city life and try to capture the nature and wildlife around me. Birds and small insects are one of my favorite subjects.
